When and why did you decide to join the military and where were you located when you made this decision?

I decided to join the military because I wanted to travel around the world. I lived in Philadelphia.

Where did you serve during your time in uniform?

I served 8 years in Okinawa, Japan. I also served in Australia, Hawaii and Korea.

What were some of your key memories during your time of service? 

You meet good people in service; you create a new family with the people you meet.

What is an important value that you took away from your military experience? 

That it is important to watch your back.

 What advice would you give someone interested in joining the military? 

Go into the Airforce.
