When and why did you decide to join the military and where were you located when you made this decision?

I was drafted and had just graduated college and living in Brooklyn.

Where did you serve during your time in uniform?

Vietnam

What were some of your key memories during your time of service? 

Living in a Michelin rubber plantation. I got to meet people from all around the US. Learning to follow orders.

What is an important value that you took away from your military experience? 

Teamwork is critical.

 What advice would you give someone interested in joining the military? 

Interview as many people as possible who have been in the military before enlisting.
