Everyone around me enlisted so I decided to as well. I was living in North Philadelphia.

Where did you serve during your time in uniform?

16 months in Texas and 14 months in Vietnam. “And would I do it again? I would.”

What were some of your key memories during your time of service? 

My 1st day in Vietnam.

What is an important value that you took away from your military experience? 

I learned how to get along with and respect people of all cultures.

 What advice would you give someone interested in joining the military? 

It’s the best thing you could ever do. The best life experience I’ve had.
